All the Watchmen hype and publicity reminded me of this design of Alan Moore I did awhile back. While many of his works have been translated from comic book to the big screen, he famously distances himself from them and passes his financial proceeds to the books illustrator. One of his classic DC stories [Here]

Concept design for 'The Motherbox: Death Brain" LP. The Motherbox is a long standing music project I've been working on with Frank Rosaly and Michael Eckroth. The project has two sides; one a creative music collaboration conducted over distance, crossing between Chicago, Phoenix and New York. This album cover is a 'holder card' for a set of music currently being recorded. Secondly, The Motherbox will be [this year] a catalog of source music for scoring film, television, video games and other mediums.

Lola Tapas is a great Spanish Tapas and Coffee Bar in Phoenix. The site was designed to be simple, but feel like the restaurant itself through colors, textures and photography. The build and photography was all part of the design, and motion time-lapse clips were shot and will be added shortly.

I am currently working on the identity and web presence for the Scottsdale Museum Of Contemporary Art's 10th Anniversary. At the heart of this project is a interactive web site, which will serve as an archive of work and achievement to celebrate the hard work and culture contributed to the community by SMoCA over the last 10 years. The design elements are being pulled together, and the site, which will ask visitors to contribute memories, will be developing in stages over the next month or so. This is an inital concept, one of many, that will be shaping things to come.

Jiggle is a contemporary jazz ensemble led by bassist/composer Ted Sistrunk. Jiggle plays large, impressive textural clouds of sounds, rooted in dark tones and mood. The group's performance is powerful and enthusiastic. The purpose of the videos and photo shoot is to document the band not as they are seen, but to show a visual map of the sounds they create. Jiggle also features Scott Zimmer (Above), Byron Ruth, Eric Rasmussen and Rob Moore.
